OPINION: Treece seeks to build healthy communities

Beaverton Valley Times

I know Pam Treece through my work with Westside Economic Alliance where she served nine years as the executive director. During that time, I saw the kind of leader she is: someone who makes room for everyone at the table, listens to their challenges and successes and works collaboratively to find practical solutions.

Pam understands that there isn’t always a one-size-fits-all answer. She takes the time to listen, consider different perspectives, and work with others toward the best possible outcome. She brings compassion, professionalism and transparency to everything she does.

Pam isn’t afraid to make difficult decisions, drawing on both her own experience and the expertise of those around her, and follows through to get the job done. I believe those qualities will serve Washington County well.

I’m supporting Pam because I believe she will be a strong advocate for our local businesses, work to address affordability, help build safe and healthy communities and, above all, treat people with kindness and professionalism — even when they may see an issue differently.

Please join me in supporting Pam Treece this November for Washington County chair.
